7   GEOMETRY OF THE PRESENT ANALYSIS

       The radius \( r \) is normalizied by the outer radius \( r_{o} \) and the polar angle
       is measured from the positive \( x \) axis. The inner and outer regions are
       characterized only by the prevailing local normalized celerity \( C \).
